What are Electric Vehicles?
An electric motor replaces an internal combustion engine in electric vehicles. You may have heard the terms BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) or EV (Electric Vehicle). Unlike gasoline or diesel vehicles, electric vehicles must be charged by plugging them into a power source, which can be done at home, at work, or at a public charging station.
Another significant difference between electric and combustion vehicles is that electric motors make almost no noise, producing a peaceful atmosphere within the vehicle. Even if the engine is quieter, this does not imply diminished performance; electric vehicles achieve maximum torque from a standing start, allowing for quick acceleration.
