The narrative and Akbar’s performance were praised by critics, and he later won Best Actor and Best Actor Popular at the 8th Hum Awards, as well as Best TV Actor-Critics’ Choice at the 21st Lux Style Awards. In the latter, it also won Best TV Drama and Best TV Writer.
