Feria: The Darkest Light (Spanish: Feria: La luz más oscura) is a Spanish fantasy thriller television series produced by Filmax and conceived by Agustn Martnez and Carlos Montero. It is set in 1990s Andalusia, where two sisters must confront a new reality—and supernatural elements—after it is discovered that their parents engaged in a cult ritual that resulted in the deaths of 23 people. The series debuted on Netflix on January 28, 2022.
The fantasy thriller series’ narrative is set in an Andalusian town in the mid-1990s and follows two adolescent sisters, Eva and Sofa, who discover that their parents, who have just disappeared, have committed a crime that has resulted in the deaths of 23 people. Sofia, desperate to see her mother again, joins the cult in order to open the entrance to the ‘Kingdom’ (aka hell).
Eva is having difficulty locating her sister and is experiencing hallucinations on a regular basis. Their parents attempted to close the passage to the ‘Kingdom,’ and the mother became stuck there as a result. Sofia opens it and realises too late that she has let the devil loose. However, she hopes to be able to bring her mother out of the ‘Kingdom’.
